My Brother in Christ, During the many years that I have known you, it has come up in conversations from time to time about how hard today would be for you. My heart has felt your pain this weekend and I have prayed throughout the night for your "Mama's baby boy" as well as the whole Walker family. Each of you have loved her so strong and you loved her so well and therefore I know that leaves a tremendous void today. I am glad that Doris Walker got to say GOODBYE to all that she loved because that is the way she wanted it. I praise God that he allowed her that final gift before rushing into HIS arms. Dale and I are here for you whenever you and Sue are ready for a hug. My greatest advice is to not let ANYTHING rush this process of saying goodbye to your Mom. Put the world on pause and grieve and remember her in the way that feels right to you. In addition to giving you life and unconditional love, her third gift to you was living a life devoted to God. She knew that this would give you the everlasting knowledge that she would be with each of you again in Heaven. My Brother in Christ, I love you and all that you call family. I am celebrating today that your mother is with her Lord and Savior and that she is whole and healthy once again.

I'm afraid I never met Doris Walker, but I wish I had done so. I've known her son Myron for over 20 years. If one's off-spring is a reflection then she was quite the lady by the fact she raised an amazing son who loved his mother very much.
