Obituary of Linda Kaye Burgess Waters

Obituary – Linda Kaye Burgess Waters – Lexington – A memorial service for Linda Kaye Burgess Waters, 76, of Lexington, will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, May 24, 2021 at the mausoleum chapel of Woodridge Memorial Park, 138 Corley Mill Road, Lexington. The family will greet friends following the service. Woodridge Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Linda Kaye passed away May 20, 2021. Born in Anderson, she was a daughter of the late Ed Burgess and Eddie May Phillips Burgess. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister who enjoyed life and her many camping trips, but her passion was taking care of her family.

Linda Kaye is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, David L. Waters; daughter, Dee Bernasconi (Mike) of Lexington; 1 grandson, Skyler Bernasconi; sisters, Barbara McClure (Webb) of Anderson, Gail Saylors (Drake) of Anderson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
