Obituary of Marie Mason McCracken

Graveside services will be held on Friday, Sept. 17, 2021, for Marie Mason McCracken. She went to be with her Heavenly Father on Monday, Sept. 13, 2021. Marie was born in Oconee County, SC, to the late Ruth and G.W. Mason on June 25, 1939. Her family moved from Westminister, SC, to Cayce, SC, in 1949, where she resided until 2010. Marie and her husband, Mac, moved to Fernandina Beach, FL, to be near their daughter and her family.

She was a member of State Street Baptist Church.

She is survived by her loving husband of sixty years, Robert “Mac” McCracken; their daughter Angela and her husband Alan Thomas; and grandchildren Blake, Adam, Joshua, and Ashley Thomas.

Memorials may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation in honor of Ashley Thomas.
