Obituary of Geraldine Martin Patrick Brown

Geraldine Martin (Patrick) Brown – Gaffney – Graveside services for Geraldine Martin (Patrick) Brown, 93, formerly of Gaffney, will be held at 3:00 PM, Thursday, March 16, 2023 at Frederick Memorial Gardens in Gaffney, SC.  Phillip McRobie and Jack Martin will officiate.

Geraldine Brown passed away March 11, 2023 at her home in West Columbia. Born in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Jesse Roland Martin and Dolly Ridings Martin. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who was a member of the “Mothers” Sunday School class at Red Bank United Methodist Church in Lexington, SC. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.

Geraldine is survived by her 2 sons, Mike Patrick of Denver, CO, and Barry Patrick (Janice) of Lexington; grandchildren, Cameron (Janna), Tyler and Jesse Patrick; 2 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Geraldine was predeceased by her husband, Broadus Brown; her son, Steve Patrick; and three brothers, Willard, Lionel and Raymond Martin.

 The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses of Amedysis Hospice, with a special thank you to Emma McNeil for her tender care. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made, in her name, to a charity of one’s choice.
